Rotarians put backs into OB Entryway cleanup

The Point Loma Rotary Club dedicated its Rotarians at Work Day on April 26 to assist the Ocean Beach Community Development Corporation in beautification efforts at the OB Entryway. Among the projects tackled were righting and fixing signs, fence mending, watering issues resolved on the street medians and general cleanup of the area, including trash and weeds.
According to Allied Waste Industries officials, volunteers cleared 1.1 tons of weeds and trash from the OB Entryway, an aggressive beautification campaign being pursued by the Ocean Beach Economic Development Corporation. |
