Ocean Beach Apartment Building for Homeless Welcomes First Residents

By partnering with Wakeland Housing, an organization specializing in affordable and supportive housing, OBCDC was able to ensure that their Abbott Street property was transformed into a much-needed resource for the community. The redevelopment project not only provides formerly homeless individuals with safe and stable housing but also offers them access to essential support services, such as case management, mental health counseling, and job training.
